What's up with the 2v2 ladder?

16 teams and only 2 in a challenge?

You are all lucky Laugher is not able to fly. We would murderize ya!

Yea, don't know what's happening.
I would like to see more happening here.
It's a totally different style of fighting when you have a wingman to cooperate with, and is far more realistic than solo dogfights.

Nap

JUST AN IDEA...

Perhaps allowing enhanced padlock in the first 2 ROE's, just like in the 1v1 rules, would imporve the 2v2 activity.

I would welcome everyone's thoughts on this issue.

I'm opposed to enhanced padlocking for 2v2. Magical Mark I Eyeball defeats the purpose of communicating with a wingman to work together and build SA by both contributing.

If you're not talking with your wingman, you're wrong. I figured the last lesson you and Buff got would have stimulated more communication and wouldn't need the 'crutch' of enhanced padlocking.

It's a poor substitute if you ask me.

I understand the various points being made, but I think the first priority should be to have something happening here.

Since I haven't got the 2v2 Rules back yet, I'm going to assume that they are similar to the 1v1. That is, if both teams agree to fly with enhanced padlock in ROE 1 & 2, then that issue shouldn't be a problem.

I suspect that two factors are in play here:
1) Hard to organise 4 people to be in the same place at the same time,
2) Confidence is preventing people from making an effort.

Cheers,
Nap

Perhaps making 2vs2 TIR only will stimulate competition

I like the idea of both participants agreeing to settings that they prefer, but having standards that are fair for all.

I don't see track-IR ONLY fair for all.

I didn't say fair, I said it might stimulate which nap wants

How does giving an unfair advantage stimulate competition?

Lets do it this way. Start a league for TIR only. TIR can only be used in that league and nowhere else.

Great suggestion Buff.
It should be padlock turned off though instead of TIR only, my error.

Be sure you turn the fog up so you can actually see what you're looking at. "I need the contrast"..hehe

So my cruch is a bit of water vapor instead of the magical "realistic " 4 key. I wonder which requires more skill!

Heh...I'll fly with you with padlock disabled, without TIR, and still kick your ass
