Patch 1.09 is in testing

here are some details from C3po over at SimHQ.com


We're currently testing a Release Candidate version of 1.0.9, a small update this time. Among the fixes, subject to testing, are:
RWR large font bug.

Correct AOA bracket

Correct HUD scaling in narrow resolutions (1280x1024)

Fix the "R" for Alt Radar position on HUD.

Fix CTD when joining a TE with longer callsigns.

Section takeoffs

Fix for "Ace Factor" not being updated in dogfights human vs. human.

No client can change the server's Dogfight settings anymore.

Fix AI bombing runways not causing hits when the host is in the UI.

Set maximum dogfight range to 75 nm.


this will most likley be comming out rather soon from the sound of it.

Whos asked for a range limit in dog-fights?

I think it is a bad idea. Why place a limit? :evil:

I would assume its too make sure everyone is in bubble at the start of the match to avoid potential problems.

also we dont gain points after succesful campaign missions, just like ace factor thing, that means no ranks..
