108 LAG/FREEZE

Hi Guys,
Can we get a list of people who are experiencing Lag/Freeze problems while in the Dogfight Module.
Please supply info:
- Simulation Tab Settings (left and right side of screen),
- Graphics Tab Settings,
- ROE Settings of Host,
- Players in the game,
- Connection Speed setting for each (Show who was host),
- Teams Joined in DF Module,
- Graphics Card/Drivers,
- Router Type
We need to pursuade C3PO and others at LP that this is a problem, and also help them with duplicating it.
Please be brief and concise if you want to elaborate on the problem.
Please do no post other types of problems in this thread.

Players in the game
- 2
Connection Speed setting for each (Show who was host)
- varied settings up and down, xianzai hosting
Flight Model Settings (left and right side of screen)
- realistic
Left and right side of what?
ROE Settings of Host
- clouds off, no external views, normal dogfight settings.
Graphics settings, including Card/Drivers
- all sliders at max
- geforce 7600 GS
- driver 91.47
Router Type
- none, cable modem
I've experienced lag and freezing with many different players, almost half of the time.

I've only had it twice, both while flying with Xan.
Graphics options:
all sliders max
1280X1024 resolution
Direct 3d HAL
32-bit textures
Reflections AND lift line
siulation tab settings
Clouds disabled
Trees disabled
Radio calls use bullseye enabled
ACMI file size set to 5megs, (I bet this has something to do with it, it never occured to me to change that) both times I've locked up i've been recording.
Computer stats *no laughing damnit*
AMD Sempron 3100, MMX, 3DNow, 1.8 Ghz
1 gig ram
GeForce 6100 (on board video) 128 meg memory 6.14.0010.9147 drivers
Realtek AC97 onboard sound (5.10.0000.6170 drivers)
DirectX 9c 4.09.0000.0904
X52 Hotas
CH pro pedals
Track IR 4pro w/vektor

I have similar setup to Hotseat except a 2.8HT processor. Same resolution, but I run all gfx maxed out. I have had no issues with lag or freezing other than the game freeze issue that is very rare, but is fixed for the future release.

Describe what kind of problem you're having in detail and I'll let you know if that's what was corrected. This was a very small problem that happened very random. Twice actually in approx 60 hrs of flying.

Don't you have any freezes or hick ups with such settings??
my hardware config is:
Athlon XP 2000+ (1,8 Ghz)
1 gig of RAM (4 x 256 DualChannel)
GeForce 6600 GT Video card 128 meg memory
and I can afford medium game settings only to have smooth flying
"medium" I mean:
all sliders in the middle position
1280X1024 resolution (only sometimes 1600x1200
)
Direct 3d HAL T&S
16-bit textures
lift line (ONLY)
AA turned off as well as clouds, trees etc., etc.
... but still it's not smooth enough

The game freezes, exactly like hitting shift-p, except it won't unfreeze.
There isn't much more in detail then that.
I took acmi of it, shows the plane frozen.
It hasn't been that random, snakeye said he had the same thing happen often.

google a program called "enditall" it helps, I do have the occasional stutter, but mainly only in campaigns

Yes, this problem has been addressed. You're only getting it in the DF module correct? I would think so since you only df with this sim.
Also, it happens after one jet has been downed right?

I did my first DF in 1.08 today with Mark and we had flown a couple of ROEs without any hitch, a couple of stutters but that could well be my machine. However, we were 1 each on ROE 3 and before the sim put us back in the pit for the next merge it froze, in an outside view. We left it for a little while but in the end we had to come out of the game and restart. We did have the option to escape out though but I've not seen this happen before.

Gave player a little more time to clear the runway after landing.
Fix AI pulling up aggressively at takeoff and not flying the flyout modes anymore.
Section takeoffs reenabled.

I will and I hope you guys all support it if you have the same problem, Schumi from LP didn't seem that interested so we'll see.
