Jag flying an F-16C Block 52.
Couby flying a Mirage 2000C.

Played with OF 4.4.1, with the last Topolo FMs for Mirage 2000 (5.0.11).


A great fight with Jag. We were both discovering these last Mirage FM's which are a great great improvement !
Hard to fight the Mirage in low speed, but at high speed the F-16 is over... I think it will be harder next time .

For the heaters engagement we were using all aspects IR, cos there are only Magic II available for the Mirage.
Jag is not used to that type of engagement . I think when he'll avoid the missile in the first pass he'll have his chance . But remember the Mirage will get you first if pulling in the first turn. The game will be to stay inside min range and come to guns.
This is clearly a big challenge to face the Mirage in that field.

For the BVR engagement, there the advantage is clearly to the F-16. Yet I have to admit that with the new FM's, references to avoid slammers have changed...
I'll be more dangerous next time .

it was indeed a realy good game and plaisir with Couby this afternoon.
i thinks that nearly 2 years that i did'nt fight with 2000 ( humain) and its a nice come back.

thanks to Couby and for sure.... next time be realy care that i'm starting to guet that back with that 2000
