If you have sent ICQ and email messages and he does not respond you can request a default in about 1 to 2 days.

More then likely this will be a void, silverhawk has not posted on the board since mid November.

Silverhawk has announced his retirement.
I guess people are afraid of Fox3.
I feel that this should be a default.

Hi Fox3,
As you already know, Silverhawk has resigned from the league.
A void applies in this case since Silverhawk's status was not know to be active for some time. He last posted, as Xianzai pointed out earlier, in mid-November. In order to findout more info, I sent him a PM in Frugals, and so he's posted here that he has resigned. (When I posted in Frugals, I wasn't entirely sure I was talking to the same Silverhawk.)
This highlights a number of things,
1) vPilots need to post enough contact information so that others can get in touch with them. Hence I have been asking that everyone here gets an ICQ account.
2) Competitors sometimes will need to make a real effort to contact their opponents. It's not enough to assume they will respond.
3) When people have decided that they are going to quit the league, they should let others know of their decision. Just because we are all on the internet doesn't mean that common courtesies shouldn't apply.
I'm sorry to disappoint those who thought a Default should have been given, but as Mask joked about, getting to the top without a fight isn't how the league is supposed to run.
Also, I am sorry about the wasted time this challenge has produced, but let it be a reminder that all parties need to be pro-active in making contact with the other party.
As I'm making improvements to the Web League program, you can see that I am making an effort to make it easier for matches to be organised. My work isn't finished, so hopefully in the future these sorts of situations will be less frequent.
Cheers,
Nap
